Well it's finally here, the new art system! We've worked long and hard re-coding Sheezy to bring these new features to you!
What's New Overall:
Tags: Artwork uses tags now, which can be used to find similar pieces while browsing.
Folders: Artwork can now be categorized into folders for Organization, Projects, Comics, Albums, etc.
Privacy (pending review): Choose who can view which folders.
Submission:
Submission has been completely revamped!
Previews for writing and music are no longer. Writing and Music have no graphical content, and will use the images from their associated artwork folders.
You can now enter information while you upload a file.
Viewing:
Next and previous artwork is shown.
Comments have been slimmed down and no longer refresh the page when browsing
Gallery:
Tags have been added on the left.
Page numbers have been added and browsing up to 100 pages back is supported.
Artwork now tiles for better large monitor support.
Folders have been added to user galleries.
Search has been reworked for speed improvements.
Take note that artwork categories, attributes, time taken, tools used, and keywords have been replaced.
Categories and Attributes have been converted into tags.
Also, when submitting artwork, it is very important to tag your artwork! Tagging lets people find your artwork while browsing. Do not, however, pad your artwork with tags that have no relevance. It may amount to a few people stumbling upon it without meaning to, in which case your artwork will be reported for mis-tagging!
We will be spending the next few days tracking bugs and helping users with any issues with the new artwork system, so if you run into issues, don't worry! Just click the support button at the bottom of the page, let us know what the problem is, and we'll get to fixing it.
Except I can't set my newly submitted song as my featured artwork. Is this likely to be a delay in the server database update or could it be something more sinister?
The freaking thumbmails for music/literatue are causing a bug in Opera! ...
Blast... finally all the Opera-bugs were solved... and there we go again... -__-

Anway... I need to get used to all those new stuff, but it looks OK.
ehm.....it kinda looks a little...disorientated on my profile page....I see the user icons of my latest watchers in my artwork window thingie.....I think you still need some work fixing the bugs.....overall its pretty neat :3

also, between the artwork viewing, and the front page, the top 'bars' are different. while the home page is the same as it's always been... but when viewing artworks, the top is changed to the new layout

I second what Phredryk said: there seem to be issues with the gallery and submission pages. Instead of trying to describe the issue, I'll take some screen caps.

Of further note is that you can see in the third screenshot that the thumbnails stretch the page horizontally at my resolution. I also think it's a little distracting, personally... It detracts from the submission you're currently viewing. May I request textual next and back links as opposed to thumbnails, or perhaps tiny buttons?
