Well.. after much lurking, I gave myself a good kick in the art pants today & decided to quit being such a puss. To be totally straight with you folks; I just don't care much for my style or rather lack of one these days. Everyday I feel ashamed of the level I've accomplished & struggle with how I could just be so much better.. I'm 27 but feel I'm at the level of about a 16 year old.. It depresses me & because of it.. I've gotten timid & idle over my years. Until I get to the point where I want in my art; I will probably continue to feel these things....
Anyway, not to be some pity case but until that day comes, tonight I've just tried to come to terms that what I do is what I do for now. I may not care for it but I know there are others of you who do. So here it is.. here for those of you that do enjoy it.
Honestly, I'm amazed & flattered each day by those of you that do. It seriously means a lot to me guys. Especially those of you who continue to watch & enjoy despite the fact that you could easily art circles around me.
My thanks truly goes out to all of you..

Many thanks for the watch, Kubo. I remember you.. hell I do! A -long- time ago when I first got into the net, I remember stumbling on your Kubo's Spot site (hope I'm NOT mistaken x_X).. and I was like.. MAN, what a GREAT artist. I admired you (I could never draw hyenas!).. and I still do.

About the level of artistic/age.. don't worry about it. Some people are GREAT at early ages and.. some need practice (like myself).. but NEVER give up, because your art rocks.

Kubo!! My fellow Ringlinger! Don't say that! Your art is wonderful! Very inspring! Everyone is at different levels. I don't think you can group talent by ages. There are people younger than me that are better than what I can do too. I hope you feel better about your work soon. If it helps, I think you are amazing!

But yea, I feel like my art is way below in skills as it should be, and it is depressing. So don't feel alone. *Hugs* Sometimes you just wonder if everyone struggles as much as you do, or do I do you just suck? 
Well, that's how I feel anyway. There are countless times when I just wanted to quit, because I could never accomplish what I wanted in my art; and I have yet to do so. But something just keeps picking me back up. Guess it's that never quit factor thing. But anyway, I'll stop typing a story and let you get on with your life. Just read your journal and to share that I'm feeling the EXACT same way right now.

Oh, and you used to upload on FA.LK.ORG, didn't you? I remember seeing your name pop up everywhere years ago when I stalked the tlk archive before I joined. Your hyena character is so cute.

I'm not exactly sure what your talking about Kubo!! Your art is fantastic, and mosts artists actually feel that way about their art. Hence, I'm starting to dislike my art and want to throw every picture away now because I'm tired of it. But, your artwork is absolutely amazing, and I'm sure the only reason you feel that way is because your used to your style and when you see different styles you began to wish you were that good. But you arethat good. Belive me, you one heck of an artist. All you have to do is believe in yourself!! Well, I hope to see more from ya, and remember; you ROCK!!!

Don't feel preasured to be drawing 24/7. Just what you truly are motivated to do should be anough. I sure can't draw well when I'm under stressful preasure. >.> I'm sure you'll continue to be great, no matter what! (hope I make sense; I'm rather tired.)
I remember learning you went to Ringling! I'm interested in the place, so perhaps I'll ask you about that sometime, if I may. ^^
