Well... I got a thing in the mail a few weeks ago for a pageant called "National American Miss" and I decided to fill out the application and see what would happen.
I got HUGE packet in the mail about two weeks ago, telling me that I had been accepted as a finalist. It was filled with magazines and brochures and information - just... a whole lot of stuff. So, now I'm going to be in this pageant.
Right now, my job is to raise sponsor money. I have to have $380 raised by the 23rd of April. The first half of that money ($190) is due on March 26th. I've got $100 so far. *sigh* It's not as easy as it sounded.
So, I want to ask if anyone would like to sponsor me? It can be any amount you want (even if it's only $5, ANYTHING will help at this point). I'm willing to do a commission for anyone that sponsors me, no matter the amount given. If you are interested, just PM me and I'll give you more details.

you got to be careful alot of those things are a racket..I was a finalist in at poetry.com and they were going to put my poems in a hard cover book and everything^^" I dont know..just dont let yourself be hurt if its not what it seems, although I know you can do it^^ best of luck

Print out 20 or so pages that you could staple onto telephone poles on intersections, and on bus stops. Put a smiling picture of yourself on it, and your phone number, and ask for donations for the pageant. Make sure your parents know about it, and have them drive you to the places where lots of people will see the posters. You'll have over a thousand dollars in no time. I know it sounds far out, but my sister did it to raise money for a school trip to Washington D.C., and got over $3000 in a month from just the posters.
