guys
can we please. please. lay off calling me clam.
i'm quiet. i don't say a lot. i can't hold conversation to save my life. i never have, and there's really no amount of taunting that'll change that. i _have_ opened up. i've changed a lot over the past year. but no one seems to reconize that. i guess that's where most of the frustration comes from. that no one sees what's happened. i mean. just because i'm not whining about every little thing in my life that's wrong doesn't mean that i'm holding in some monumental angst. if someone asks, i'll gladly tell them. i'm not hiding, i'm not holding back anything.
i mean. if i'm still being called clam because i'm quiet, like i said, there's really not a thing i or anyone can do about that. i'm just no good at talking just for the sake of talking.
i'm sorry.

:X i haven't known you a really long time, but i've noticed you open up more. <cei3 i know how you feel really, i think the thing is to not take it to heart when people tease you about it and they mean to beat it into you that it's not a big deal. it's not necessarily that people are saying you haven't changed at all. and it's just... you're just kind of the clam. nicknames like that stick.

I've never been good at holding up a converstation, it always ends up with more ummms, than anything else. I don't know, you seem decently open to me. 
And on the nickname clam. ::shrugs:: I don't know I think it's catchy and little else.

In the spirit of what Soshi and Raizy said, though, A) we all end up with dumb nicknames at some point (my crowning glory was a three-day band competition at which I was known as Snoop Sholesy-Sholes.) and B) I don't associate it with you being shy, or even with you lurking, but just because it's cute and fun to say.
