Hello world - how are you doing lately? I've been doing alright. :) Got some updates for you!

Writing

So, I think I'm there - I'm at the point where I'm psyching myself up and writing will commence. The main focus this round is still Project: The Virtue, so I'm getting ready for that.

I was a bit worried with the story, as it has a few plots going on in it - but after watching the plot-a-palooza that is Game of Thrones, I've been given the motivation to go on with all the plots regardless. I loved all the plots and intrigue of Game of Thrones - I should enjoy it in my own writing, too. AND SO I WILL.

In terms of characters and setting, there will be some renaming, some redesigns, some design-firming, and some setting/history reconstruction. Not a lot will change, but enough to tighten things up, like a literary tummy-tuck. Fwah!

I'm also thinking about starting back on a few smaller projects in the meantime. Recently, I've gone through my writing folder and gone to some of the little stories I had started. While they may only be a few pages worth in writing, I read them and immediately asked myself "Where did this passion and writing go??" Not to toot my own horn, but I loved what I'd written - I enjoyed reading it and was immediately disappointed when there wasn't anymore of it. I can only hope that some of that comes back to me and I can bring some of it to the table for you all.

Roleplaying

I've decided that, for the moment, I'm going to hold off on the Roleplay Club on MangaBullet in favour of seeing how clubs are constructed in Anipan. Eddz has mentioned that clubs will be slightly different, so I hope this means it will work out better in terms of the structure I want for the club. I will also take some time to perhaps plan a few to start the club off with while I have some time to think about it.

In the meantime, I wouldn't mind taking a look at some existing communities to maybe join, if anyone has any ideas? Or is a part of any I could take a look at?

Life

Watching Game of Thrones ate up a lot of my spare time (but it's so goood!) - now that I've finished the first season and don't have the second to watch yet, I can get some of that spare time back! Whoo!

My husband and I started playing Warhammer Online under the free trial accounts - We play Order on Karak-Narn (Europe server) and Chaos on Badlands (N. America Server). I've got a few characters at the moment that I only play when my husband plays with me, but I don't mind creating a few more to play otherwise. :) Anyone else on? We may look at upgrading to full accounts (or him reactivating his old account) if we get into it more. So far, I like it - it's simple enough for me to get in to, run around, and kill stuff without feeling overly tedious (*coughihategrindingcough*).

Lastly, some important news - we've begun the hunt of our own house. We've seen the mortgage companies, come through our budget, and now know what we can afford to pay each month and what we can borrow. So, the step right now is actually finding the house. It's been a bit difficult so far, as the county we're in is one of the more expensive ones, so what we want is on the higher end of our budget, or just plain over it. But we will persevere! Just have to make sure it has decent broadband...
