Sharpy here, and after such a long agonising wait (Personal drama and general busy life on my end herp derp sorry :X ) I feel it only fitting that such a long journal should be made to add to the dramatic build up. But first some closing words.

"This is Sheezyart" was an ambitious project started by Catleen, even by OCT standards, to try and breath some life into a community that has faded in recent times. Hopefully this OCT shows there is still life in this site just yet... it just needs a little teamwork and some TLC to repair it.

A big thank you to everyone who took part in this, even if you didn't make it past the auditions. At the end of the day, while this is a competition, OCTs are more then just that. They're about meeting new people, improving your own work quality, telling a story together and most importantly, to have fun.

So yes, thank every single last one of you!

And also a special thank you to everyone who stood up to take a shot in the judges seat and especially Catleen for organising this whole thing in the first place. As while the judges are really the spectators with the best seats in the house, without the judges, especially the original line up, this OCT would not be possible.

Monstro City OCT
Monstro City is an OCT of adventure. A group of 7 explorers will gather a 32 strong crew in search of a lost island in hopes of finding a treasure of legend. But do not think the journey shall be an easy one. The island is also by legend said to be home to all sorts of monsters. Dare you join the expedition of the lifetime and complete the ritual to uncover the lost treasure of Monstro City?

Purgatory OCT
Death is only the beginning in Purgatory OCT. Your character starts off dead in the land of Purgatory and finds himself in a tournament for the ultimate prize, a second chance of life. How you chose to use the prize is of no importance to the four judges set to overlook the events. They are simply servents to a higher power. Fight for your life in Purgatory!


Ok, enough cheap advertising. Down to the reason why you're here.

Kori, your story was shorter and as a result a lot more focused. While it's a shame that some other plot points happening away from Carrie and Talc weren't really touched upon, this did mean you could focus on what was most important: A face off between Torin and Carrie for the Tower.

Tori, your story delved much deeper, giving as many characters you could a chance to shine. A lot more stuff happened Also you got Human DT kinda spot on personality wise... which is odd but good heh. But this is a blessing and a curse. Sometimes there is a whole lot to take in and some points I had to reread a second time to digest. The final Webs fight is a good example (As it's the most fresh) as it was kinda like you were trying your best to just give everyone a shot one after another, causing a more hectic fight scene. (Though Tori, you've read my JYC Rd 4 entry so you can probably cry HYPOCRIT at that con heh)

I also want to slap you both on the wrist a little (Just a little though). There's a time and a place for pop culture references, even if it's a bit of a personality trait for both battles. The middle of life and death battles for the sake of the universe more or less probably aren't the best time to be pulling them out. And watch them typos kids (Especially if they are in the form of ladders)

That said though, you both took your plots in interesting directions and both left us on cliffhangers leaving us wanting more. (Which I assume win or lose, you're going to put up an ending so everyone can see what happens now the tower is being rebooted).

I'll start chasing up prizes then!

In conclusion to this heart-pounding blood pumping tournament that I have not only had the honour to be a part of but to also judge the final half of. I would like to personally thank every single one of you for being apart and making this thing happen. It was wonderful to see how so many amazing artists and writers viewed and put into their own words each other's characters and created a world to this oh so humble website. So I thank you all for jumping onto the TISA band wagon and hope that in the future we can proceed with something like this in the end. That being said if anyone would like to set something new up, please contact me and maybe we can start planning something out.

So again, thanks to you all, TISA wouldn't have existed of thrived like it had if it wasn't for you.
