All right, FUCK all this crap. Too much obsession for me, I'm picking a style and stickin to it - no more of this pop culture anthro sexual stuff, no more super fluffy photoshop backgroundlessness, no more style spread across every inch of everything, I'm stripping down to what's mine and absolutely mine. Nothing inspired by other people...just me and me alone. I've whored enough.

I disagree. I would say you should absolutly try new styles and elements from other resources. They will help you develope youre own style and skill in gigantic leaps. It's ok to referance, you know. Experamanting is an awesome learning method.

do what you think and feel is right. i personally love your art how it is, but then again i guess i have seen the "whored" version of your art only. try doing your own thing and see how you feel, you never know, you might just like the way things are, or enjoy the change to the real you. your art is wonderful.

Agreed with Drak, from what Ive seen of you so far you have already melded so many different aspects and made them your own, that is what EVERY artist does...Your odd combinations and 'styles' make your artwork some of the most original and unique Ive ever seen. You break the "OMG IM SO GOTH" & the "OMG IM SO FLUFFY" along with "OMG IM SO HORNY" stereotypes that plague the furry genre. This is a rare accomplishment.
