Why do a lot of anime/manga fans think rape and molestation is cute?
Even in high school the packs of anime fans were "raping" each other.
Is it from a certain anime or manga?
Erm. I don't think it's only in anime/manga fans. It's just on the internet in general. I think it probably started with online FPS like Halo. Teenage boys killing someone and being all "Oh, he totally RAPED you.".
I never really found it funny or amusing. But hey, that's just me. c:
Quite strange, I have to admit. Then again, humans are disgusting creatures and since I cannot tap into someone's mind, how would I know what someone is thinking? I guess it is the modern's age way of saying: "Let's be honest, we are not all goody two shoes". Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying rape is acceptable. I guess people don't take it that seriously when it is a comic compared to real life, but that is just an assumption...
What I believe this is due to is that the general populous of teenage "totally random" outcasts who dabble in video games and anime only ever get to touch other weirdos like themselves by acting "cute" and behaving that way.
Of course, they have probably never met someone who this has happened to and cannot wrap their heads around such a subject, and they are probably in a stage in their lives where they think that bad things (i.e. murder, torture and Joker quotes) are completely and utterly super-cool.
