I posted this on DA... and here.

Well, I have noticed quite a few peoples have started to creat Alien races. So I decided I shall too, due to the fact I need a new project. Pictures to come shortly, I can rarely draw when sick ^^' So here is the info on Nephakari

Appearance
Nephakari (Knee-faa-car-e) have 4 stages of growth.

Stage I: Urakari(your-a-car-e)
The first is that of what appears to look much like a Dwarve. The females and males look very similar, and are only around
4 feet tall. Males get facail hair around the age of 13, it's thick and the same colour as the normal hair. The people are also quite chubby. This stage lasts for about 20 years, but it varies.

Stage II: Miakari(me-a-car-e)
The second stage is that a cocoon like state. The cocoon is extremely hard, very few things can actually break its surface. The cocoon is designed with various symbols and charms that protect it from danger. The cocoons are usually 2 or 3 colours, except for those of royal blood, those are a solid silver. The cocoon lasts for the same amount of time as how long it took to get to the stage, so around 20 years.

Stage III: Anakari(an-a-car-e)
The third and most lasting stage of the Nepakari. This stage lasts for around 200 years. When the Nephakari come out from the cocoon, they are quite different then when they came in. The men are usually between 6 feet to 7 feet, and the women are usually between 5.5 feet to 6.3 feet. The men also have no facail hair. Both male and female now have wings, but in different spots. The females have wings behind there ears, and appear small, but can grow out to a very large span. The men's wings are usually at the small of the back, but some have there wings on there forearms. The ones with wings on there forearms are called "Vilo" and they usually are better at flying then regular men. Both males and female have elf-like ears. There eye colour is what determines there name (read more about this below). Also, both species have tails that have a feather like fur at the end. The mens feathers are sharper then the females, and the females feathers can be also be sharp, but can also be heavier then a regular feather. The skin comes in different colours, and are softer in colour, but is not white, except for the royal family. The royal family has white skin and have black feathers. They look around the age of 20 through out this stage.

Stage 4: Yuekari(you-eh-car-e)
This stage is what the Nephikari dub "Sunaki". When the Nephikari is done there 3rd stage, they still do not age. They actually become a spirit like form. They will stay like this for 10 years, and then they are sent to the spirit plane. They basically look exactly like they do in the 3rd stage, but they become like a ghost.

Where they live
The live on a planet called Luaria (Lu-are-e-a)which is known for there rare stones. These stones are created usually mystically charmed, and are sought after by many races in the universe. The people of this planet have a mix of technology/ magic. Most this are worked with magic, but are created with technology.

The planet has many forests, which are mainly green and a deep violet, except for the forests near portals, which are red. The waters are a deep blue colour.

Luaria only has one mountain range, and it has 5 mountains in total. The tallest one is called Kaos, and has some of the most precious stones on it, but very few Nephakarians can get up there, only the most skilled Vilo can get up there.

Nephakarians have not travelled in space, but can travel to various planets. They have a specail device which allows 20 or so Nephakarians on it at a time. The device locks down to a planet by its amount of minerals and the alignment of the planets. All that needs to be done is that the control device has to have set on to the amount of minerals, and then it sends the Nephakarians there, and it keeps the coordinates in its database, accounting for celestial realignment. The device sends it self there as well, and it has the Luaria's coordinates set permanately. No one knows exactly how it was sent to Luaria.

The Royal Family
The royal family has has two main leaders. Solex (the king) and Seroni (the queen). The main leader is always the queen. The first born of every family has always been a girl, except every hundred years and he is called the Seronex. If this ever happens, the Seronex is appointed leader.

Names
The names of Nephakarians are chosen by the colours of there eyes. This also means that no one has the same colour of eyes, even if its extremely close. If the name is two words, the first word is considered it name, and the other word(s) is used just for when its needed (ex. Midnight Blue is just Midnight). If the colour is Blue Violet, it is highfenated ( Blue-Violet)
