I have spent most of today playing Pokemon and screwing around. Got half of a commission done. Too bad it's the least complicated one. Oh well, still feel accomplished. Somewhat.

Was playing Sapphire for awhile.

Now I'm playing Crystal.

The sudden step back in graphics and user-friendliness (saving after every time I change PC boxes? OH MY GOD IT TAKES FOREVER TO ORGANIZE) is kinda like a kick in the teeth but I'm still amused by it being the only game with animations for every Pokemon you see.

In other news, I think that the box my grandparents sent for Christmas might be a new game system. It's heavy as hell and about the right size for something like an Xbox 360, I think. My mom knows how sick I am of playing Nintendo only and the box is addressed to "the kids," so I would be unsurprised if she dropped a hint to my grandparents. Thankfully, the bubble wrap that the box was encased in has kept me amused in the meantime.
