Hay everyone.

Sorry I haven’t been on to talk to my friends for a few days. We got a huge snowstorm and had about 2 and a half feet [that’s about 76 cm for my European friends!] of show dumped on us so I’ve been busy trying to get the driveway clear. That crap’s heavy even though it’s just fluff. It’s really tiring to shovel snow when it’s up past your knees…anyway the people here are freaking out because this like never happens here in Virginia. They don’t have the equipment to take care of all the roads, so people are getting ‘cabin fever’ even though it’s only been a day. Those people are foolish to go out because who says the roads are any better beyond our subdivision? To me this is a small blessing. I haven’t seen this much snow for like 8 years when I used to live in Michigan. So other than screwing up my back shoveling snow I am enjoying my “Blessing from Russia.”

Anyway enough rambling. I’ve been trying to get Christmas presents done. I have most of them drawn; I just have to color them. I have like three more I have to actually draw. So still having about a week to do them all I’m doing well.

I’ve been watching a lot of Black Jack lately. Another great anime/manga introduced to me by T.A.K. Why must all the old animes be forgotten. I try to look up Black Jack and like nothing relevant comes up. Oh yes, and I have found there are two constants in this wonderful show.

1- Everyone gets hit by a car.
2- Surgery fixes everything.

The old actual anime is pretty dark. I think I like it more than the TV series. The TV series is lighter in mood and yet still serious business. Pinico is much happier and more silly. And the manga is SUPER SERIOUS BUSINESS. But it’s totally worth reading. I recommend you all to watch Black Jack. Most of you would like it as much as I do.

I still have a lot of things to get done. ‘s gift got sent back so now I have the correct address. As soon as the plows come I’ll get another envelope and resend it. Sorry about that dear.

Last week while my grandparents where visiting, we went to an antique mall which was super awesome. My friend Ky came with us and we pretty much bought out the mall of their skeleton keys. I’m crazy about old keys, I collect them. I’m not sure why I like them so much but I think they’re neat. I bought a book translated Russian literature that is 61 years old, three skeleton keys, a bag of old stamps from around the world, and while we where looking at everything, I saw the most beautiful model of Saint Basil’s Cathedral. I wanted it so bad because Russia is pretty much my favorite country ever next to Germany of course. The model was absolutely gorgeous but it was $300. Ky had to talk me out of getting it. I told her I wanted it soo bad. She replied with: It’s huge where are you going to put it? It’s just made of stuff. I can make your own and that she would help. So I have been collecting lots of pictures for reference. The model at the mall was huge, so I decided that I would make mine slightly smaller and perhaps make some of it removable for moving convenience. I have been collecting small treasures and working on a blueprint for this sucker. I can’t wait. It makes me want to go to Moscow even more. Someday…someday I’ll make it there.

I’m still really exited about Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier. Even though I heard it got bad reviews and such, I don’t care. I think that’s for me to decide. Besides the Jak and Daxter series is my favorite series along with Ratchet and Clank. Which unfortunately I am behind in. I got stuck in Deadlocked and never got back to it. I did play Size Matters, which was pretty fun. I love my PSP.
