THAT'S RIGHT. I'm actually proud of us, the little-big wind ensemble :'D I was dropped to second chair because my flute was being tempermental the day I was challenged and wouldn't cooperate AND the biased neighborhood JACKASS we know as Hannan judged it, so no matter how you look at it, he'll choose Rachel even if I am better, because -gasp- she's in marching band, so he automatically LOVES her. He HATES me because I'm rising above her and also not in marching band. He would do ANYTHING to keep me from playing a part beautifully and more spectacularly and emotionally than Rachel. BUT GUESS WHAT, HANNAN? I played my solo BEAUTIFULLY AND DID NOT FAIL. SO THERE. GEEZUS I just want to SOCK him IN THE FACE sometimes! He deserves it, as he is going to the slums of Hell.
But, the holiday concert was great. A few wrong notes because four flats are apparently like WOAH for the trombones and saxes (and I played some wrong on accident too, but that was a one-time deal. The trom.'s and sax.'s do it all the time and never fix it :/) and it was hot on stage so sax.'s were rising and clarinets were too...but it's no big deal. We sounded fine.

OMG. But I have to say this. FLUTE NEXT TO ME. She was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO INCREDIBLY out of TUNE! And our pitches were conflicting because my flute has a set spot where it is always in tune, plus or minus a millimeter or so for drastic temps, and she wassssss sooooooooooooo out of tuuuuuuuuneeeeee.
Plus she has zero musicality and it's just boring and loud and annoying. She should have just stayed on Piccolo and made up a part for it on tunes that didn't have Picc. parts because she was making all of us sound bad, ugh.

Ah well. Tomorrow's the last day untill break, and I'm going to Disneyland after schools out! SO EXCITED. I love D-land :> And it's a min. day, so it'll go fast.

ORCHESTRA YOU GUYS SOUNDED AMAZING! I am so proud of you and I love you all and I stayed to watch the whole thing and I felt very fuzzy inside and christmasy afterward. ^^ Congrats on such a wonderful performance
