Here's what's happened to me lately.

-Traveled to Montreal for a doc appointment
-Went home
-Caught Swine Flu H1N1
-Didn't know above, went to my painting class final show...got a lot of that's really nice...ah how like the real world is sheezy huh?
-Had to be hospitalized
-Woke up next day feeling fine (after some nifty meds)
-Got put in the smallest curtained off area of hell for 2 days where I wasn't allowed to look past the curtain, leave the curtain area for ANY reason even bathroom breaks. Had no window.
-Shared air with a crazy old lady who'd wake us all up for hours at night asking for help and anytime someone saw to her she wanted help up so she could leave, cause she had a doctors appointment to get to...at 2:30 am.
-Hear an old man say "This is hell." Yeah well at least he got leg room in his curtained area.
-Had crazy visiting hours that no one followed but everyone I knew kept getting stopped at the damn door.
-Went bored out of my mind waiting for the doctor to let me out
-Doc told me I could leave once my chest x ray came back clean then he went home while I was having it taken
-Told me I could leave next day then comes back and makes me wait several more hours, still curtained off while results came back
-Left (and if they'd made me stay longer the bodies were gonna pile up man)
-Took special meds that made me sick
-Wore a mask (that also made me sick) even at home but to get around that I barricaded myself in compy room and watched Buffy season 7 for days
-Stopped taking the meds yesterday

I still feel like shit, but not sick. I've just got this heavy asshole standing on my chest trying to crush the air out of my lungs.
Thought I was gonna pass out last night coming out of a bath because the humidity was sucking the air out of me. I still wheeze.

So I'm not exactly most active right now on the net or otherwise.
Been doing a lot of sleeping. Been waiting a lot for things to go back to normal.

God I wish I was back to normal already. It's been a full week since I was sick.
Lesson to you all, when they start mass panicky vaccinations...apparently you're not supposed to be the voice of reason and tell yourself you don't need it. You're not supposed to know that people are just being morons, that regular flu kills 4000 a year but swine flu only 200-300.

Especially if you qualified to get the vaccination with the very first groups. Apparently I'm immune compromised. Would of been nice to know that before getting sick.
