I would like to take this opprotunity to thank all of you for the kind and supportive comments you've been passing me over my take on Charles Schultz's creations.
Even though I was just trying something out, the reaction I have received adds to my incentive to do more. I have already hinted that I have more to show but I want to flesh them out some more before I present them. To show off their looks clearly, I am not doing any dynamic posing with them yet just simple straight on stuff.
So far, I have settled on looks for Charlie, Linus, Lucy, Schroeder, Pig Pen, Violet, Marcie, Sally, Frieda, both "Patties" (Peppermint Patty and the Patty that hung with Violet a lot) and the little red haired girl while I still want to work on Franklin a little more, (even though I posted him in the sketch)...Re-run and instead of re-designing Snoopy...I think I'll introduce his kids. Probably the same thing with Woodstock.
I wasn't thinking about doing a full-blown series of these characters...for one thing I do not have the authority and two; I don't measure up with their creator. I do hope to have some wholesome fun with this as I am sure Mr. Schultz wouldn't mind. :)
For those who mentioned his name pertaining to what I am doing, you could not have said anything nicer. Thank you. :)

Rest in peace Schultz. Honor his memory, keep doing what you're doing.

I think what you're doing is great! I've never in my life seen snoopy in a different style before, I love it!

Hey, don't worry too much about this being a different take on it, Anime Insider reinterpretted "A Charlie Brown Christmas" as an anime combat free-for-all farce against a giant cyborg Snoopy back in December...at least your take sticks with the strip's actual concept...LOL

hehehe...I think they're cute
let's hope that the voice acting isn't as poor on these ones, though, even if they are just drawings >->

I would be most curious to see Woodstock myself, yet again I have always been weird ;)
