I very rarely bother with journals, as I find them tiresome and mostly boring , but I just felt I had to say something about this flu bug that is going round. Hardly have I suffered like I suffered with this particular virus. Having survived the First World War, ,the Second World War, the Korean War and later Ebola, Dengue fever and The Plague, I thought I had seen it all. But no! This bugger is persistent and relentless in its determination to destroy me and civilization as we know it.

I have suffered for 12 days now and it still has not relented its grip on me. Being a man I have naturally suffered in silence, ( yeah right!), and have only phoned the hospital 20 times per day for assistance. Anyway just want to say BEWARE of this flu virus!
