Some people have been hazing me regarding this part of your standard license agreement for LICENSED games like Diablo, Everquest and World of warcraft.
I will describe in detail what ever aspect of this small part means.


B. You agree that you shall not, under any circumstances,

(i) sell, grant a security interest in or transfer reproductions of the Game to other parties in any way not expressly authorized herein, nor shall you rent, lease or license the Game to others;

this means I can not grant Copyright to another individual; clearly VIOD if I own said copyright, but this one is part of anti pirating laws.


(ii) exploit the Game or any of its parts, including, but not limited to, the Game Client, for any commercial purpose, including, but not limited to, use at a cyber café, computer gaming center or any other location-based site without the express written consent of -Insert company/ copyright holder here;-

this means that I am not allowed to integrate the game into a Network without connect written or otherwise of the shareholders/ copyright owners of said game; Again VIOD IF I OWN THE COPYRIGHT.

(iii)host, provide or develop matchmaking services for the Game or intercept, emulate or redirect the communication protocols used by Licensor in any way, including, without limitation, through protocol emulation, tunneling, packet sniffing, modifying or adding components to the Game, use of a utility program or any other techniques now known or hereafter developed, for any purpose, including, but not limited to, unauthorized network play over the Internet, network play utilizing commercial or non-commercial gaming networks or as part of content aggregation networks; or

This refers to cretin other illegal activity's; Picking up minors for sexual situations, selling pirated copy of the game, it however DOES NOT refer to any privately owned "wow like or private wow" server so whoever telling you that bull crap needs a boot up their ass!

(iv) create or maintain, under any circumstance, any unauthorized connections to the Game or the Service. All connections to the Game and/or the Service, whether created by the Game Client or by other tools and utilities, may only be made through methods and means expressly approved by Licensor. Under no circumstances may you connect, or create tools that allow you or others to connect, to the Game's proprietary interface or interfaces other than those expressly provided by Licensor for public use.

This is I can't hack it or make things to hack it and who would want to it ruins the game. if you want to get into a scruff about this terms of service thing over a MMO I have ownership over bother to prove me wrong, but I found the beta player leaked the info and he was removed form the think tank and is only aware of small ideas or models MODELED AFTER a majority of what is already in most MMO's.

so don't come to my face and try to f--k me over unrefined blueprints that will be only a base for a MMO that has yet to be made.
