Three separate news bits here that have nothing to do with each other:

Dating
Well, for the heck of doing it, I opened an account at Match.com (username "seanofw"). Being single sucks. Ladies, if you're interested, feel free to say "hi".

Physical malfunctions and surgery
It's looking like a certain part of my body that is not functioning correctly is going to require surgery. I've been lying on my back for two days now because of it, which, of course, means I'm getting significantly less than nothing done on anything. Wish me luck; even though it's likely gonna be outpatient, it's gonna be a painful recovery either way. Once recovered... I'll probably never have to deal with it again. But... until then... *sigh* In general, I came out on the good end of genetic roulette, but this is one where I didn't.

Mini-kiriban!
I went to my deviantART gallery today to notice that the counter had hit exactly 1,400, and I was tickled pink to see it. So I'm announcing a mini-kiriban over there at 2,000 --- if you can prove you got magic hit #2,000 (please take a screen shot), you'll get a drawing of the head of the character of your choice, looking however you'd like. I haven't the time to do the whole body (maybe at 5,000?), but heads are reasonably quick (6-8 hours) and a lot of fun. So good luck to all of you!

Yes, I'll probably eventually do a mini-kiriban here too... but... right now, there aren't enough hits here to even begin thinking about it I'll probably do one around 1,000... but the only way to find out is to get there first
