Plenty of people are (still) going on about Sheezy sucking or being boring. Yes the site has it's flaws and bugs, I'm not going to argue with that, but does Sheezy deserve all these complaints?
Of course not.
It's because of ourselves that the site got "boring", and it's only normal. A lot of us having been doing this for 5 years or more now. We got older, opinions, views and life in general changed for everyone in their own way. More time for college or work came into our lives which means less time for Sheezy. And who doesn't want something new after being on the same site for 5 years? Just like real life we want to move forwards.
Back then we had nothing better to do and provided the site with lot's of content and many interesting things and collabs, but you have to keep in mind that people come and go on this site just like real life. Obviously we can all still draw and submit if we'd like to. I think I even might start doing that again, but it shouldn't feel forced.
Also realize that, there's several new fresh and young groups of friends forming on this site, just like we made friends here. But that's their generation, not ours. We shouldn't get involved in it, even if this means letting them have fun with their sprites/naruto/sonic things. They're having fun, let them, and they'll grow out of it and improve, just like the many artists when we first joined improved. And let's be honest, who wouldn't punch their old self from 5 years back in the face after looking back today? Everyone does dumb things when they're a teenager.
Just realize this is life folks, we grow up. Don't have mindless discussions and "drama's" about this and blame it on the site as it's just how things go sometimes. Just never stop making art, and preferably, share it with the world
PS: Damn I'm only 22 but I make myself sound so old after reading this over

But still, when I get away from life for awhile and come to check on the site, it's just kind of lame to see how things changed.

Its been 5 years already :< shit well i think the problem isnt with the site, its with some kids who have nothing better to do than insult every artist on here then go back to their aim and lol with their pimply friends
I think it was easier to deal with this when i was younger , but these days you have to wonder is it worth it? But lets face it most(if not all) of us have tried to make our own comunity by this point, most of our attempts have failed badly so obviously sheezy is doing something right for it to still be visited and gaining new users
