oh here's a surprise, me recommending a comic!

But really, I highly recommend reading Pluto. I haven't read any japanese comics in a while but this really sucked me in. It's a adaptation of the "The Greatest Robot on Earth" storyline of Astro Boy but done in the style of a murder mystery. It's exciting and genuinely touching. Some parts nearly made me cry. I can't say which parts without spoiling it.
