I have been going through my gallery a lot trying to get a feel for the direction my art is going and I won't lie, I have seen major improvements in the last two years in regards to colour composition and shading, especially.
Whereas last year there are entire pages of my gallery filled with just gray tegakiE lines whith maybe a few accent colours I have been trying to step way far out of my comfort zone since this summer and stop calling a piece of lineart finished work and I think it has done me a lot of good.
Shading of course is just something I have been forced to do for art class so it had no choice but to improve in that area, though I am quite proud of how much better I am at showing value without colour.
It startles me though because as I see these improvements and as I am more serious about art than ever I can't define my style by anything that's already out there. The only real "theme" to my style is that I draw woman. A lot. I used to just draw then plain standing up staring at the camera colourless and I've moved away from that but geez, its still sort of odd how my subject matter never really varies from that. Sometimes MAYBE I draw two or three girls in the same picture and they could be considered interacting but really that is about it outside of the stuff for art class.
I'm going to try to move away from that as well. No COMPLETELY but just some.
so
guys
suggestions.
anything would work~

I do really love the colors you use.
So you have gotten better at that point.
but it seemed like you used to be a bit more...

You've improved. like.
A LOT.
That is why it saddens me, not many people comment as much. >:C
Suggestions? Guh, I suck at making up poses. And everything else. Lol. So I'm not going to be any help there.. xD;;;

You've improved a lot since I stared watching you :>
I always get so excited when you have an art update.
only suggestion is that you should think about weither you want to make your style realisic or not and if so then pay attention to real people's faces and try to imitate it.
Also, I'd like to see you try to draw a full body person : D
