Fortunately I was able to reinstall Windows without losing any of my files - computer works again!
Proceeded to back up all my important stuff but now I have a weird problem - when I go to shut down, it tells me I've exceeded the "maximum profile storage space" and I need to move stuff to local storage. Never had this problem before, as I only have one profile on my computer, where I store everything. So that's weird to begin with -
but weirder still is that the number I apparently went over is 10240 KB.
Um. What?
I have single folders with over 4 gigs of stuff in them, and I've never had this problem before.
So... wtf.
But oh well. The computer's working again, for now.

...Maybe it's time to back up your files, just in case (although, you probably thought this as soon as you got it working
We must find a way to make sure it stays fixed
