Ok, so I went to gamestop today to sell 7 games. Guess what? They would only give me 11 bucks and in store credit! WTF!? Now I have to sell my games on ebay, and hope like hell they sell and I get my money before next Monday.

My friend found a game box with the game inside of it and sold it back to the game-stop.You know how the games boxes on the outside are suppose to be empty, well this game box wasn't empty,and he sold them their game back and they didn't notice a thing,they just bought it.Game Stop is so stupid.

Most games, if traded in a lot (Value is usually dependent of how many copies are traded in) it's not worth much.
That's why Sports games are worth so little. That's why Crackdown is worth like nothing. (People bought it for the Halo 3 beta. Then got rid of it when Halo 3 came out) That's why games like Elektroplankton and Tetris DS are worth so much. (20-30 bucks, and hard to find)
I work for GameStop. Yes yes. Supporting evil company. Blahblahblah. It's money. And I need it.
But I like to explain to people why games aren't worth what you buy it for. That's why we always have promotions going on. (Trading in 3 PS3/360/Wii Games gets $10 bucks, 4 gets $20)
It's like when you buy a new car. Once you sign off the lease papers and drive it off the lot; it's worth about $7,000 LESS then what you bought it at, right there.
Think about it. We sell Madden 2008 for the Xbox 360 for $3.99. Seriously. How much do you think we're gonna give for it? Not a lot.
Now I'm not saying to keep shopping at Gamestop, cause I'm sure you wont. But now you know why you get what you get.

Eh... I worked for them *Epically misses working for them at the moment* but yeah, stuff like that happens. Most of the things that go with what you said were answered by RPD.
I know the company sucks like that, but this goes also onto you as in:
What other choices do you have?
and
Do you expect to get truly better deals through online selling?
You also have to take into account how much you think they are worth cause you like them as opposed to how much the rest of the world deems them worth, just cause its a game.
How old were the games?
