Don't fret, that last submission isn't my pic for this year... though it was fun to draw for some reason. Just like last year, I'm thinking about doing another old B-movie poster parody.

I've seen an unhealthy amount of bad scifi/horror films from the 50's and many are fertile grounds for riffing. Oddly enough, many of their posters are pretty tame. Take "The Killer Shrews" for example. The movie (which can be found here) is pretty campy and not that bad compared to others of it's time. The poster (which can be seen here) doesn't make for good parody material. Well... not for my purposes, anyway.

What I have done is I have narrowed my search down to a few possible subjects: The Screaming Skull, Teenagers from Outer Space and the unlikely addition of Reefer Madness. I Mark Reefer Madness as 'unlikely' as it's not quite a horror film though it was originally made to shock the audience into the mindset of 'Marijuana is the root of all Evil'.

So what say you, my fine fellow SA folks - Which of these do you think would work for a parody? Other old school movie poster suggestions are greatly appreciated, too.
