So, apparently, Barack Hussein Obama was recently awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. For what? Ever since he was elected, he's done nothing but sit around on his butt, disappoint half the nation, and offend the other half.

Well, heck! I have a lifelong history of lazing about while offending and disappointing everybody I know! Where's MY Nobel Peace Prize?

Seriously, though, support the guy or not... What has he done so far to warrant this award? Sure, he's SUGGESTED various changes, but he hasn't made any of them yet! "It's the thought that counts" doesn't really work with the Nobel Prize, last I knew about it. Is it because he became the President? Well... Okay, fine! But if that was the case, shouldn't every U.S. President be awarded the Nobel Prize?

People are stupid.

It seems I was wrong. The "it's the thought that counts" rule apparently DOES apply to the Nobel Peace Prize these days, according to this article. I have officially lost total respect in all human cognoscenti.
