the mood im referring to is that when i looking at my work i see no life in it. damn i hate this. i still have a drawing i have yet to upload cause i cant seem to finish it. its done but at the same time its not done. ill upload it tomorrow and let you all help me figure out what it is lacking. (i screwed up on its eyes) but i cant draw anything. ive been trying for over 3 months to draw again. i just cant do it.its like i sacrifice 1 skill for another (traditional for 3d) that and im also tired all the time. as for my zephyr gundam (the smaller one) i have begun remoddeling it. redoing its horns, finally creating a beam saber for it but once again i have hit a snag. making it glow in renders. sorry if it sounds like im depressed but i kind of am. i used to find a lot of joy in drawing now all i find is frustration. anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this? i am almost defeated here but im not down yet.

It's difficult when you're trying to get good at a whole bunch of different things at once. It's the same thing with learning an instrument. It's possible to be extremely talented in more than one but most people find themselves only being a bit good at everything. In the end, they're not really sure what they're doing. It's easy to get frustrated too but like you said, you're not giving up.

Just remember, it's not the perfection that makes a piece art but the imperfections. I heard someone tell me that a long time ago.

Just give your best and then us here on SA will help and support you!

o0 Ya i what i think is your trying so many different ways that your not finding your own way and that is why your stick in frustration. Just draw what you feel and try to improve with object then you will develop habits then practice what you like then you could move on to other things. Than again without frustration how are you ever going to get it right. Just bite the bullet and bs try to make up forms just by scratching it out lightly on paper.
