I feel like I got how I feel about your art out 100 years ago. If I respond with a silly quirk, it's because you already know you're the best.

113420 Says:

that person deserves a medal!

Phive Says:

I'm gonna be a bad example real quick and say yumifan's rappin' bad.

Zetsubou Eureka Says:

I'm a little late to the "Useful comment/worthless comment" conversation. I don't think the best place to look for anything useful is here or DA.

If you make something and it gives people are certain reaction, they'll comment on that reaction. People in general aren't that critical of anything that doesn't make them angry or scared, or make them feel inferior.

That other comment to me is about the same as the last one. Sure the other gave better explanation as to why he liked it but I would take them both as sort of compliments. Those two comments didn't seem to provide anything substantial anyway.

Hukuzo Says:

Most people only upload art these days for the attention. They're not looking to be critiqued. I didn't think you want to be judged based on your descriptions. You usually just leave a one liner or something. If you want an honest opinion on everything you upload, then I'll be ruthless.

uaint N E V A lie Says:

I think that's the main reason why I stopped doing fan art.
You get more comments about the subject then the actually ART.

But then again, you get that from anything nowadays. Esp on-line.

Preed Reve Says:

My comments are always good...ALWAYS! >C

Prismind Says:

ehhh people never give you what you want. The ones that do, are few and far between and often disappear or become part of the masses

BabyfaceBenny Says:

What's the problem? You like to say "I just gotta believe!" all the time. I see how just a straight-up quote can be irritating though, especially on deviantart which doesnt much allow for social-networking.

ochahane Says:

I like fanart, but stupid worthless comments like that make me :c
I only make an acception for it if she/he says crap AND says 'But wow, this is amazing. I like the lineart.' or whatever. Then, I won't mind as much. :u
