ALL of these were (or will be) released in the theaters this year.....but not HERE....
France, Spain, and Germany mostly!!

While some are vulgar, some are cute, all have quite nice feature-worthy animation!

The Secret of Kells
Country of Origin: Ireland-Belgium-France
Type of Animation: 2D
Synopsis: (taken from Animation Magazine ) "A young orphan living with the monks of the Abbey of Kells, a monastery during the Middle Ages, gets involved in the illustration of the famous illustrated manuscript."

Synopsis: (taken from Animation Magazine ) "Over the course of one hot summer, a group of streetwise homies find plenty of action in their hometown. Synopsis: (taken from Animation Magazine ) "A family movie about a super-star wannabe mouse, a vain rooster and an ever-hungry pig who join forces to rescue a kidnapped lamb from the wicked wolf."

Country of Origin: Not quite sure on this one.....
Type of Animation: 2D (rotoscope perhaps (?))
Synopsis: (taken from Animation Magazine ) "Based on J.R. Ackerley’s well-loved 1956 novel about the strong friendship between a man and a German Shepherd he rescues. This new indie feature skews older than most animated movies, but promises to be a powerful work."


Mary and Max (a tad bit depressing, some cursing)
Country of Origin: Not quite sure on this one.....
Type of Animation: Stop Motion
Synopsis: (taken from Animation Magazine ) "An unlikely pen-pal friendship develops between Mary, a lonely eight-year-old girl in Melbourne, and Max, a 44-year-old, obese man with Asperger's Syndrome living in New York."
