Hello everyone!

I have a large announcement to make! Well, it's not really that LARGE, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up on the upcoming pieces I will be submitting here on S.A. I have, since school began, been studying art history since 1945. We have been dealing with Abstract Expressionism. I have decided, starting this evening, that I will be creating at least three pieces of each type of abstract art that has been around. Using similar styles as many artists. It will not be copyrighted, stolen, or anything of sorts. Just some paintings/doodles of styles similar to that artist that will be used each day. I will write a description of each piece, and tell you about the artist that was the inspiration. It's kind of like a history lesson.

Now I understand many of you [and others] might not like, or despise, abstract art. I think it is a great way of opening up the creative mind. Just like doodles are! They are abstraction until you form a whole figure. Anyway, I ask each and every one of you to refrain from criticizing my artwork. I will not stay as an abstract artist. I just want to express feelings and such in hopes of inspiring someone who is looking for some inspiration. You can criticize me, but please do not use offensive language and be all "I hate you cause of abstraction in your pieces... your are a lame artist....why do you call yourself an artist" ect.

So, now that you all are in understanding, starting this evening, I will be posting the first piece. From then on, until the end of september, I will be doing nothing but abstraction. If you like some of my pieces and want a copy, I will let you know the prices and such. Thank you all for taking the time to read this. AND congratulations to those who read this to the VERY end. :3
