meh.

Okay so camp was a month ago and I never explained the awesome that was camp.

First though, I"M SORRY EVERYONE. I have been avoiding sheezy again and in that process I have been avoiding all of my lovely friends and people I want to get to know better. I'm very sorry.


Now Camp:

Day 1...
Before day 1
Pack a bunch of crap to wear and then make sure to hide phone and charger in bag.

Day 1:
Successfully smuggled my phone and my friend's phone into camp.
Found camp friends from last year
Got to know some awesome people.
Found out one of the twins was in my group >___<
(bad experiences last year)
Found out our suite-mates were jerks
Got friend's phone taken away

Day 2:
Woke up early
Walked to breakfast as usual for camp
Did some robotics
Did GPS stuff for an activity the next day
started balloon powered cars
Got to know everyone in the advanced group better
Had rootbeer floats
Went to bed

Day 3:
Repeat morning before
Did some robotics
Did some more GPS stuff
Played around on Photoshop
Met with the electricity lab dude.
Got to see a pop can blown up with electricity
Found out I'm the oldest at camp.
Had dinner.
Found out suite-mates are trying to get attention from college guys when they are 12 and 14. >__________<
HAD THE SMOKE ALARM GO OFF AT 1:37 AM because a guy had left popcorn in the microwave too long.

Day 4:
Breakfast
Get taped by a TV station while we were doing robotics
Went crazy
Make egg drop things out of STRAWS AND TAPE >__<
Walked ( I got driven because my ankle had been hurting since day 2) to another TV station and get recorded while we were taking a tour of the place.
Watched a cinderella story.
Waited up to watch us on the news
Saw myself a lot and laughed at how the editors had edited a part of my friend's interview and made her say something funny.
Created the awesome lunch table where wrong things were said every few moments
Started speaking in British accents

Day 5:
Created an inedible thing for breakfast and watched the people in the kitchen make funny faces when they saw it.
Made funny jokes all day
Did the robots competition
Dinner

Day 6:
Breakfast
went to the fire station in my home-town city we drove right by my street. I was a happy camper.
Played a shooting simulator
Got to roam around in the dark using the things fire-fighters use to look for people in a burning home
Got to go through a maze they use to train the fire-fighters
Got to show that I'm really strong by lifting a 50 pound piece of metal with a hook.
(I don't know how to describe that thing)
Got to beat up a fire fighter in a demonstration of protective gear
Got a group together so we could drag a 200 pound dummy across the floor.
Got in a car with a police man and he took us at speeds of 50-70 mph around a pre-done track and then we all freaked out when he took us on the skid-pad. It was amazing fun.
skid-pad = really slick pavement with water strewn everywhere making it even more slippery.
Went into the fire house that they train fire-fighters with and then we got locked in a room and they filled it with "smoke" and it was PITCH-BLACK.
Then everyone was wondering around bumping into people It was great.

Day 7:
Breakfast
Finished packing
Finished the poster we got to show our parents
One of my friends got picked up early so we were all latching onto her until she had to leave.
Got my phone out and was taking pictures of everyone.
Got picked up and taken home

Miscellaneous:

We walked across a thing that showed how much pressure we put on the ground.
One of our councilors got her foot broken because she wasn't wearing her shoes when the alarm went off
I stupidly went back for my sketchbooks during the alarm craziness
(though my room was DIRECTLY next to the exit)
My friend Addy forced me to make her a picture and she payed me for it.
My friend Lauren forced me to make her a picture and she payed me for it.
I came back home with more money than I left with.
I played the music on my phone everyday in plain sight and no one took my phone
(I was clever about that~)
Designed a really cool heart that will get here eventually when the camp director bothers to send it to me >________________________<
Made a video with my friend Melissa but we can't get it because the girl scout council is made of jerks.
Made a lot of new friends.
Warmed up candy and crackers in the microwave every night

AND~ I think that's pretty much it.

That is the end of my week at camp. Finally.
