On the way to the end...
Yeah, so college is creeping up on me already. It's already halfway through August about. I've ordered my textbooks and I'm trying to collect some references so that I can get myself a proper work study job this semester. If things pan out well for my brother, he should be going to college, too, which will put funding strain on my parents so a job would ease that, for sure.
I'm wondering if people would commission me for my basketry. Of all my work, I feel like my best is that. I've actually even been writing down plans here and there to do coiling sculptures of characters, but that is still a ways off. I need to finish my scarecrow and learn the technique before I were to actually offer that out to anyone.
In the meantime, I guess I have to get ready to go back to school. Since my job's been over though, I haven't had energy to do much of anything. I spent a lot of it working on graphic ideas for
Sonic Aftermath, since I basically almost live there when I have nothing else to do, but things have stalled to give everyone a chance to recoup. Too bad that only stresses me out more.

I really dislike just sitting around. It makes me all anxious. Since when did I turn into such a workaholic? College, probably. Oh well. I'll have more than enough work cut out for me once I return.
As per usual, expect very random updates. I might be a little more on target with my journals (I usually only update it once a month though for the sake of not flooding you guys ;D).

Kiwi Joy Says:
I know this sounds mad, but if there are any shopping centres or marketplaces nearby it might pay off to sit outside selling baskets instead of asking for commissions. It's an unusual thing to commission, and someone would be much more likely to pay for one if they saw it while walking past and thought "Oooh, that's different."
