So I've been away for a bit
Pourquoi? China

I've been in China for the past 2 weeks. You think you're set for the culture shock but you really aren't. I leaned this straight away on day one because I ticked a box on a form and ended up in the worst situation/scariest one I could've got in. Seriously, it was hell.

In a separate incident in China, a British student from another group was quarantined along with a teacher for two days after she showed a heightened temperature when she arrived in Beijing this week, the British Council added.
The student showed no flu symptoms and was later allowed to rejoin the group, the statement said. She was part of a group of 362 students and teachers from 41 schools on a British Council-organised language course.

I'm not going into detail as to what my quarentine room looked like..but basically looked like someone rotted away and died in it. Blood stains on the walls! THE WALLS.

That was only day one lmao. I can't really explain everything I did in one journal. I saw all the major sights like the great wall, summer palace, forbidden city etc. And met the most amazing students (brittish, American and Chinese) and a whole lot of lovely memories :] I'll miss the bizarreness of China. If you know me on msn I can tell you a tale or two about it since I'm too lazy to type it here.

I also met my Asian husband, but that's another story ;]
and on another note it's fucked up my sleeping pattern. Went to bed at 8pm ;_;
oh it's inspired me too! Art wise I'm in a massive slump :c but hopefully I can draw out some ideas I've been having AND start up doing caligraphy. Doing those chinese characters in the pen and ink is actually so much fun. Apparently I'm good at it!
