I'm a bit miffed that the videos I took with my new Samsung Camcorder won't import into Premiere properly without some horrifyingly complex conversion doo lally (explains why it was so cheap.) Explanations on better methods to editing the stuff would be appreciated, but here's some of the vids I've managed to upload so far.

Ah it looks like you're using HDD instead of AVCCAM/SDHC Cards or Tape Stock...
Eitherway you shouldn't have any issues with capturing on premiere - just check your capture settings to make sure they're suitable for your camera.
