I've been on dialup here at home for 2 weeks, but I finally found the time to write an AX/Comic-Con journal. Very late, I know.

Anime Expo 09 was an absolutely brilliant time. My first time in California and ohhh WHAT a first time. The Milner roof, the ice cream toss, the boba tea, the "gentlemen" (the being a camwhore as a result), the Michael Jackson t-shirts, the BlazBlue "PAAAA PA PA PAAAAA!" etc. A lot of inside jokes, of course.
I really had a great time, and I have no one but my AX group of friends to thank.

When I get back from San Diego, I'll post a detailed thank-you journal from both conventions.
But yeah: There's now San Diego Comic-Con 2009 to deal with. It starts tomorrow, already.
Ironically, I've really forgotten about this trip until now. Kind of a mistake.
