Taking a break from Sheezy for about a week. I need to stop paying attention to what everyone else is doing and concentrate on what I want to do. And what I want IS MY DAMN INSPIRATION BACK.

During high school, I was able to fill a sketchbook within a month or so, a max of three months. Since then, a sketchbook lasts me a year. Why is this? Back in high school, I had a lot of roleplays going on, but also a lot of stories, so I had a lot of people to draw and a lot of motivation to do so. It feels like my stories have all died off, so my motivation has as well. While part of it was I was taking too long on them and second-guessing myself, I probably also second-guessed myself because not many responded to them. I had maybe, at least, one confirmed person who knew and/or liked my story.

So, in an attempt to get my liking of my stories back, I'm going to stay away from Sheezy for the next week. I'm also not going to read my webcomics. I think looking at these things has made me care too much about 1) what everyone else thinks, 2) what everyone else is doing and why it's better than what I'm doing.
