So the world has been thinking green for how many years? Yet the earth as a whole has more water than land. We know so much about the world that we can easily see, but when it comes to the ocean, it looks like no one cares. But imagine the world without the ocean- why, we would be living on Mars! Scratch that, we wouldn't be living.
Life Support System- that's the ocean, and it needs just as much attention, (if not more!) than it's greener counterpart.
Watch this compelling TED talk video about Sylvia's wish- knowledge makes all the difference.
You have a point, and while maintaining the ocean is really important, the reason people care about the green more is *because* there is less of it. Without the trees and grass, no oxygen--not to mention we use plants for all sorts of resources to maintain our way of living. I would think that they are equally as important.
