As an artist, it's always good to take a moment and look at the past works you have done. I find myself doing this ritual more often than usual with my art and I can definitely pinpoint the year when my art started to take a drastic change.
Despite all my griping about me not being fond of fine arts, I am actually somewhat proud of the fact that I can draw from realism just as well as I can draw from fantasy.
I wish I had a camera so I could post my realism art (the sketchbooks I use are just as big as newsprint pads) but I really do like drawing from life as well. Vine charcoal happens to be one of my favorite mediums next to ink and brush.
I've noticed with my artwork that I live practically a different life compared to the art I showcase here and the art I am known for in rl. The two worlds haven't seemed to cross yet and because of this I am little worried about my art in general.
Maybe I should incorporate some of my fine arts skills with my anime works just to test it out and try something different. I love doing CG work but I can do more than just CG.
I just need to do so.
