So, as of lately I had been working on graduation presents for my sister and friend darilyn. I was finally able to give them the presents today after just finishing up heather's earlier this morning (i pulled an all nighter lol). I made the both of them one of those no-sew blankets but with some of their favorite characters in chibi form and i made some black and white lettering out of fleece and put their names at the top and "Class of 2006" at the bottom. I unfortunately forgot in the rush of things to take pictures of them for my portfolio so i have to do that later xD they looked pretty awesome if i do say so myself ;3 i'll post pictures when i get a chance 83 it sure was a chore getting them done though xD especially my sisters cause i had to do it in secret i wanted to give her a surprise so as soon as she went to bed or went out of the house i would work on it xD it's very hard to do something in secret for someone that lives in the same house
anywho, so i'm glad they liked their blankets 83 i'm thinking of posting the chibis soon. I wanna put some of them on shirts
Here's a list of the chibis i made for both of them:
-Spock doing his 'live long and prosper sign'
-Snape scowling
-Roy Mustang w/black hayate puppy
-Yotsuba w/sunflowers
-Miku Hatsune (volcaloid) w/leeks
-Kyo (fruits basket) hating miku's leeks
-Clare (claymore) fighting saber
-Saber (fate/stay night) fighting clare

heather made chibis for darilyn's blanket too, a cute/funny:
-batman and joker fist fighting pose
-Light and L w/L bitting onto a strawberry and Light dangling from the chain

I found fleece material that suited both of them pretty well darilyn likes strawberry's, dragonfly's and purple so i found a cute strawberry fleece (main side with the chibi's and lettering) and a purple dragonfly fleece and that was perfect 83
heather likes cats and volleyball so i found a cute orange cat print on light blue fleece (main side w/chibis & lettering) and a purple volleyball fleece =3

so i think that was a success

anywho as for cosplay i've come up with a lot of plans and costumes i wanna do
here's wut i'm gonna try to do b4 sakuracon 2010 :
-Saber (fate/stay night) w/armor and Excalibur sword- just got some material today 83
-Lavi 2nd uniform- got all the material just need to put everything together

-Revamp Edward Elric- got automail cut out in wonderflex

-Kurama (Yu Yu Hakusho)- only if darilyn does hiei xD i like kurama's hair

Update on my grandma:
-she's out of the recovery home from breaking her hip and gettin it replaced.
-she's walking
-still doing therapy

so, my mom is planning on coming home friday for a bit

Random stuff:
so lately i've been into collecting those nendoroid figures, chibi figures and revoltech figures i dont have a whole bunch cause they're expensive but i just got this nendoroid one 2 weeks ago at the local anime shop

and i just got into gurren lagann and i like the character yoko so i got her revoltech figure in the mail today :


and since i was ordering online i asked my dad if he could get me the nendoroid figure of yoko too cause it was cute for one of my b-day presents since the store only had 2 left and wouldn't be getting anymore in so he did ^-^

well, i'm gonna go to bed since i havent had much sleep lately
