Hey guys! I've been in Kingston for about a week now. Still jobless, but hopeful! Living alone isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Nights were kind of creepy for the first few days but now I'm kind of fond of the solitude.

For example:
No pants in the living room!

That's going to be more fun when the weather actually starts to feel like summer. Hell, I'll take spring weather and not complain. Right now it feels like fall. I'm inside, in a sweater and still cold!

However, I at least have time to work on some art! I'm about half-way through a painting right now. I swear to whichever God is the right one that I will never do another painting with so many letters again! At least it's nice and colourful. It will brighten up my bedroom when it's hung.

I also get time to read! I'm finishing the 2nd Artemis Fowl book. I'm going to start Atlas Shrugged. For those who don't know, it is a 1000-page beast with tiny font that goes right to the edge of the pages. lol That will probably take me, well, forever. I read slow. It's sad because I study English.

I'm also running every day! The first week was brutal because I couldn't move but I have a friend here who forces me to go which is why I haven't quit yet. Running in the cold sucks, but I'm totally stoked for the shower that comes after.

Crisis Projects Says:

ee! I like running as well! I only really started going after I discovered a 'wilder' trail near my house while biking one day. I say it with quotation marks because it doesn't have a sidewalk and coffee shops lined on the side, but it does have gravel and little bridges which cross over tiny brooks.

It's also a little sad because my runs are frequently interrupted by distractions.

Distraction 1: Holy crow! Is that a crow?
Distraction 2: *rescues a worm in the middle of the jogging track*
Distraction 3: "You're a snail/slug! I haven't seen one of you in SO LONG!"

Yeah, I've been nature deprived too long. Ever since grade 6, when I said goodbye to my last snail/caterpillar/slug. And now every time I go out on a jog it seems as though I find a new friend, lol. Even in the frickin' city, when I was downtown yesterday, a sparrow flew to my table outside at second cup. I gave it a piece of my pita and it flew away to bring more friends. <3

Kim's gonna be the cat lady. I'm gonna be the bird lady with a rat on my shoulder. We need to find you an animal, hehe.
