Seal - Kiss From a Rose

In case you were actually wondering, which I doubt you were, here's how things are in the world of Hicken.


1. Now I've actually had chance to use it, I've realised how much the new submission system sucks balls. I want the old sheezyart back, the one I fell in love with. I'd like to have a submit button I can click when I want to upload art. At the moment it isn't coming up. >:C

2. It was my birthday on Sunday. I'm now 18. This means I can now legally serve alchohol, buy alchohol, vote for Greenpeace as an ironic joke, and buy knives to stab you with. Rock on.
This also means the government will think it's okay now to take (more) of my hard earned money. Not so rock on.

3. I don't come on the internet much these days. I've found better things to do, to be perfectly honest with you. Not that I'm saying any of you are less awesome. I'm actually kinda bummed out from time to time that I don't get to speak to some of you as much as I used to. That means you Michelle, and Frario. Also Aaron too. But none of you know who he is and he won't read this.

4. That also is the reason I have not been doing art.

5. I'm off to University this September, with any luck. I'll be studying Media at Leeds, where I've already been accepted on condition that I get the right grades at college.
This means I'll be moving out from my family, and moving into the big wide world doing something I enjoy at the next level. This makes me very excited.
This also means I'll be moving away from places I love, and especially certain people I love, which will be incredibly difficult. This makes me very, very scared.

6. Work sucks. A recession means I have to put up with it, too. Working 10 hours with only half an hour break isn't very pleasant.

7. I'm right where I want to be in life. I have everything, and everyone I feel I need. I couldn't be happier.
