I've been practicing a lot. The only time I'm not in a double battle is when I'm eating, playing Left 4 Dead or working. Even then, I'm thinking of how to improve my team.

I've taken down numbers since the latest incarnation of this team, having been most recently revised on thursday of last week, I've won 76 online double battles on Pokémon Battle Revolution. I've lost zero. I wasn't counting before last thursday.

This number does not count any battles that broke the tournament rules, which I quickly fled from as they served me no purpose.

I've whupped all the variations of the junk I've been reading on the various Pokéforums. Trick rooms, rain dances, the good stuffs. I have a shot at placing at this regional...

My only fear at this point is that so many people will show up that I won't be one of the 128 selected to battle. That would be the world's biggest bummer.

I'd say get there early but... you're probably already going to do that. =/

I tend to be a better double battler than a single battler. ^^; I prefer the more intense strategy of it.
I went up in a battle on PBR against a guy with two smeargles and two Bronzongs. =\ Same technique. Trick room and rock slide. Easily counterable, to say the least. However, the battle drug out for ... 2 and a half hours. Needless to say, I got him down to one pokemon and he ran. =\

I only lost one double battle on PBR because someone used a hacked Swampert that knew mirror coat. As far as I have checked, Mirror coat cannot be learned as an egg move or tutorable move. Which really kind of PO'd me when I hit him with a Solar beam and he survived with that berry that weakens grass moves and he followed it with a mirror coat. -_-

We should double battle some time, but not right now.

1. I'm not in the battling mood
2. I have no strategies thought up
3. I'm busy with school

All in all, just try to keep down to earth and not get so over confident. That can lead to one's own downfall. ^^; You're a great battler, but I always keep in mind that my opponent will be stronger, even if they might not.

Hope you make it. ;)

I've always been hesitant to count online randoms as victories for myself, because it's not like I can tell if they're playing on the same level as I am, or even if they know there's a tournament about to happen. I guess right now there'd be more people practicing on PBR, but still.

Make you a deal. You don't get in, and I'll piss on the host(s).

..You get in and I'll do it anyway.
