Dear people; yes, this is a "yaoi" based roleplay. It's also horror, and paranormal. This however, is not going to be an anime-esque fairytale about how men with large glassy eyes have wonderful happy relationships where they frolick in comic panels covered with sparkles and cherry blossoms. People - yes, including gay men, have personalities and problems and emotions, and they are not just the "gay".
Gay people are not instantly attracted to eachother because they are gay. They work the same way as heterosexual people.
The forum is "yaoi" themed because the antagonist is a gay man who buys men and uses them for a number of things (ever heard of a movie called
Eastern Promises? The plot was inspired by that). Just because it is "yaoi" it dosen't mean that there won't be any women or straight men in it at all. "Yaoi" will be a recurring theme, just has horror and paranormal themes will also come back time and time again.
I understand that there has been a request for a yuri roleplaying forum. You know what? Do it yourself. If YOU can immaturely say LOLOL I DUN LIKE YAOI OR MEN BUT I LIKE YURI YOU SHOULD MAKE A FORUM!!! you can make it yourself.
I'm not berating yuri at all.
It's just not what we're doing.

When someone says yaoi/yuri I tend to think "omg sex scenes", simply because that's how the labels are used.
To me just making the antagonist homosexual with the plot around male slaves seems to be only worth half the label.
Also, saw Kod mention this twice before. So that's what it is...

If you guys want to make a "yaoi" whatever, why do people even bother talking about "yuri?" Do they think they'll just... Change your mind by asking for lesbians instead of gay dudes? :V
Also, I miiight join if you've still got it going on when I'm less busy. If not... Oh well. Tough luck for me.
Also also, why call it "yaoi?" Surely there is a better term that isn't unfortunately associated with SUPA KAWAII ladyboys who think about naught but sex. :0
