Ok, I'm just wandering with the sudden popularity with Deviant Art. Its not exactly better than Sheezy Art and it sure as hell doesn't exactly change anything in terms of popularity or your shoddy art skills. if anything, its WAY more restricted and annoying. for one thing, when I upload a flash movie over there, it doesn't show for me.....at all. May be nothing to most people but its a big deal for me and also, when I upload a big image, it sometimes get altered for the damn site to be happy.
Really, I just go there from time to time because my friends are there. and to check updates......that don't show....
At the end of the day, its a preference and I really shouldn't say where you should go to submit your art.
In any case, I'm glad the Sword. Vrs. Fish thing is revived, it would hopefully bring the community back together after the past two years of drama and really, have fun.

Well when it comes to altering images, I assume you're either reffering to the resizing (you can set how big you want it to appear when you submit it, and the default is usually something that can fit in the browser window) or the weird blackness on previews when you submit .pngs (this only applies to the thumbnails, same applies to sheezyart)

If anything DA is better.
You get noticed less, but that gives you less chance of your artwork being removed.
