so. yesterday I went and I bought lots and lots of clothes for myself to prepare for a trip I'm taking soon, and I probably had more fun buying the clothes than I will actually have going on said trip.
I don't *buy* clothes very often because I am satisfied with what I usually wear. I hate going places. Lately though I've noticed that when I DO get somewhere to buy clothes, I tend to go berserk. like, way out of control. and I have tons of fun, more fun than a guy should have buying clothes.
I have a very specific sense of style and I like my clothing very tight, so I am picky about what I buy as well, which makes it even funnier. It's actually pretty comical.
SO. DOES ANYBODY ELSE OUT THERE HAVE GRUELING AMOUNTS OF FUN BUYING CLOTHING? ANYBODY WHO HATES BUYING CLOTHES? funny shopping stories would also be lol'd at.

I hate all shopping, full stop! Although I once bought a skirt that I was very pleased with, but when I got home I didn't have it with me, so I phoned the local police station to see if it had been handed in to lost property, and there was all kinds of hilarity when I told them I had lost my skirt in a busy high street!!

I either like something to look classy and sophisticated, or bohemian and natural. I also like 70's style anything! ^___^
Shopping is really fun, especially when you know you can fit the clothing well and it looks reaalllly nice on ya! :)

The only time I have 'fun' shopping is at thrift stores and buying stuff for my animals.

My pastor had the Berserk Sale Fever overcome him when he went to buy some nice shirts. Like, cruzayzay mad soccer mom on Christmas blowout sale. Funniest thing ever.

I love looking and buying the odd thing if I see something nice, but I'm never out to go nuts all at once. Oh, and shoe shopping is evil

Shopping. I have a lot to say about shopping. <: I go to the mall with my friends all the time and look at everything and only buy what is on clearance; then I come back the next day with my parents and make them buy me the expensive shit.
its a process.
I have a lot of clothes and I plan on getting more soon because I need shorts and whatever, and random things for the beach I don't need but I'll get anyway. and also if I go back to public school I demand to have real clothes again and not just plain coloured shirts and things I feel I can "get away" with.

I'm usually like you in that I don't shop a lot, I'm pretty content with what I've got and the way I look in whatever. I'm pretty minimalist - what I love about fashion is being resourceful and making unusual things work, and the simpler, the better.
except when it comes to accessories and knick knacks. i love detail and unusual pieces.
F'r example: Do I need lime green sneakers and a matching graffiti vest? Of course not. Do I own both? Ye-es....
The same for headgear, like bandanas or head bands or PRETTY HEADPHONES prttyprtty headphones...unique necklaces, strange rings or bracelets.
And I second "special"s method. Totally up for scoping out the desirables and then having people with actual cash come and buy them.. my parents have an income... i have bills... it's a good relationship. (har-har..just kidding..now that I'm 20 i guess I have to join the ranks of the responsible)

Meh, I don't usually have fun buying clothes unless I go to stores that are WAY out there! Like travleing a good 30 mins to go to a mall for clothes! Yeah!
