I left a small bag full of my pencils and pens at my best friend's house and I freaked out so badly he offered to walk three miles to give them back. Holy bananas, batman.
Anyway.
Digital art vs traditional art-
I find a lot of other users, when approached about the subejct, don't like using traditional art for a number of reasons. Either it's just not their thing, it's too slow, they can't get the image they want, ect. I'm not here to belittle digital art or anything I'm just going to ask, put down the tablet or the mouse a moment and try doing an entire picture in real media, beyond pencil.
I say this because yesterday I was working on a comic-in progress, and the prolouge chapter is being done in markers and pencil crayons. I normally swear and scream about pencil crayons being the devil, but I was using them for abstract backgrounds. Not only does abstract pencil crayon stuff look dope, it was really fun to make.
Take that and chew on it, Sheezyart

Brass Teh Shapeshifter Says:
It isn't just the efficiency of the mediums though. Its about the look.
Digital mediums give a very 'clean' and high resolution of quality, as well as its own stylized look if you so choose.
Traditional mediums give off their own genuine look, with degrees of texture and whatnot with all the scratches of the pencil, or strokes of the brush, or the bleeding colors of watercolors and paints, which can NEVER EVER be imitated in digital mediums without painstakingly tedious work.
Its simply a matter of how you view art.
Big fancy artists might use both depending on their picture.
Illustrators/Concept Artists likely use digital, for its simplicity and efficiency of use.
Aspiring Artists like here on Sheezyart and whatnot can use either for the same way.
You either have pageview-whores or simply people who are like me and just want to show off concepts, who generally use digital mediums, or artists who use both either together or seperatly depending on pictures, to capture a specific feel.

I'm a stingy bastard and I freak out at the thought of buying quality art equipment.
I also dislike colouring, which is just a minor convenience in digital art.
I don't really mind how I draw, as long as I draw.
