I have seen it with my own eyes: Debates that seem to drain into a state of proving who has the bigger dick/boobs; People vehement on a subject try to attack each other; Claims of double standards are flung around, and people who don't understand, miss the point, and take apart a legitimate argument just to prove its fallacies. It destroys people, destroys friendships, destroys societies, and starts wars. One innocent comment can start pages of arguing, to the point where no one is right, and everyone is a condescending jack ass. No one wins, and everyone walks away scarred.
My beliefs, in my opinion, are negative to people, even if they seem moderate and compromising; everyone wants THEIR side no matter WHAT, to the point of criticizing the person, and making them feel like a jerk. Thus, I have learned everything should stay inside. I now refuse to share my beliefs with anyone else, even those closest to me; in fact, I'm not even sure I have beliefs. If you ask for them or my opinion on a real life issue, prepare to be met with resentment, irritation, and the cold shoulder; or, if I'm feeling rather annoyed, tell you to screw off, and it's none of your business. Most likely the latter.

I will share this one belief: Let society, like nature, take its course. Rome wasn't built in a day, and women didn't get their rights from being aggressive. Patience is a virtue; learn it. If not, then come, let's bring on World War III and kill each other.
