After all my pathetic bitching and moaning, I thought you guys deserved a more upbeat journal update, enter in THE LEAGUE OF SUPER EVIL! BWAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!

There is nothing I don't like about this show! Voice actors are well picked, the animation is clever, and the show is really funny! Not one episode didn't have at least one exchange of dialogue that I didn't fall out of my seat laughing over. Plus I think you guys all know how much I love humor based on evil villains, and with the villains being so pathetic at even being evil in the first place, it makes it all the funnier. As you may or may not know about me, 3D animation normally takes points off with me if I'm deciding if I like a show or not, but in this case, it really works! It's so flexible and well rendered with its overall cartoony feel. It was a smart choice to flatten the 3D to make it look more hand drawn, allowing more wacky poses and funny expressions. I think they'd benefit from making more room for 2D animation to go along side with the 3D animation, but there are times I'm watching it and I lose myself so much in the experience that I forget it's 3D! So they must be doing something right.

I hope it does well on Cartoon Network, I really do. I want to see more of this show! The animation is very ground breaking and I want to see what they'd do with a higher budget. Cartoons like Flapjack and Ed Edd and Eddy proved that the animation and stories kept getting better as their popularity went up, and with this show starting on such a high level of style, it can only get better! Hell, if Total Drama Island is their most popular show, this show should make their viewers have a joy-gazum! I know I did

Let's get something strait, though. I HATED Storm Hawks (same animation team) It was poorly animated, badly written and painful to watch. I always thought the animation, with allot of work, would look great for a show like this. I actually got into an argument over it with one of my old roommates as I tried to explain though the show sucked, the animation would work well with another format. Of course, since this friend was a snob from Ringling, he wouldn't hear any of it. It seems I was right in the end, because the animation works really well in this format. So I'm kind of proud of myself for having the better judgment.

But bottom line, L.O.S.E. is a wonderful show on many levels, characters are great, voice acting is tops, the material is hilarious and it's just damn good TV! Go watch it! If you're a fan of fast paced wacky cartoons with a delightful pinch of evil and well rounded characters, this is your kind of show and I doubt you'll be disappointed!

Catch it Mondays at 7pm, or I'm sure you can see some of the episodes on Youtube. But if you like it, tune into it on Mondays to show your support.

I haven't seen it yet, but I saw a commercial where a guy with goggles was doing a "Ren" voice, which originally was based off of that famous German actor whose name I can't remember, and he was yelling into a fish.

I really want to see it, if only for that.
