To spare you guys another ranty journal, I'll just add to the list here. Sorry if this shows up again in your updates, despite the recent journal update, there still isn't an option to make sure edited journals either do or do not show up.

The FAQ - still incomplete.

Comments - the new comment box system is slow, enough so that it's discouraging people from commenting. :/ It's now possible for art to be popular enough to get on the front page, but still not have more than about 10 comments (and I've seen art up there with none). Either people are still around, but aren't commenting, or they've left the site altogether.
Though to be fair, it might not be the loading speed that's the problem. When you go to comment now, the page you were looking at greys out a little (which seems like a counter-productive thing to do on an art site where saturation of colour can matter...) and the box pops up in front of what you were looking at/replying to, and it's large enough that you can't put it to the side of the screen. Again, on such a visual site, this doesn't seem like a good idea.

I do hate moaning really, and I try to stick by the "like it or leave it" principle... so for all that I said that I'd comment and upload more - that was before sheezyart started sucking this much. So I will do both, just not here, unless something improves. Otherwise I'm just another sheezyart troll really ^^;

(Though to give sheezyart some credit - at least it's not against the rules to complain about sheezyart on sheezyart :D )

---
I know everyone and their dog has complained about the new updates, but sheezyart really is sucking :/ I don't care that staff keep saying that the latest bugs will be fixed - there have been too many bad changes and general problems anyway:

Cropped previews - defeats the point of having a good composition. From the artist's point of view it's a bad thing because it doesn't do their picture justice. From a viewer's point of view it's a bad thing because you don't really know what you're clicking on until after you've clicked it, and so browsing because tedious.

Music preview - Doesn't exist. Obviously it would be difficult to visually preview a sound, but if there are adverts that make sounds when you rollover them, wouldn't that be possible for music? And at the very least, would it be so hard to at least have the title?

Writing preview - Also doesn't exist. And since writing's visual, there's no reason why it shouldn't. And again - title?

Avatar tags - ...why? Avatars are 100% customisable, and this is an art site, so there really should be no shortage of artists who can make their avatars look how they want. If people wanted a tag, I'm sure they could put one there themselves.

All art visible in userpage gallery - Which defeats the point of having a 'scrapbook' folder anyway. If it's a glitch, I'd like to know why it wasn't tested first. If it's deliberate then ...it's just a bad idea O.o; Those images are in a space which gives an example of a user's gallery, like a portfolio. I know sometimes you need to include quick sketches in a portfolio, but they still don't go mixed in at random with better work.

The front page - is messy, and in a way that doesn't do the art on it any favours. And the titles are just ...immature.

I like the concept of this website, but not the way it's actually done. And since I can get the same concept, but done that doesn't look like it'll annoy me so much at Deviantart, I'm thinking of making an account there too. I'm not leaving here, and don't have any specific plans to leave in the near future ^^;

Making a deviantart account is also delayed because I need to think up a new internet name ...and also since I used to have DA accounts so I feel like a drama queen making yet another one ^^;

(One was a fanart-only gallery, the other ended up just being what various people offline thought was acceptable. It's a long story.
Both usernames are now too connected with offline things for me to feel comfortable - at one point it was possible to find out a lot of offline info about me... and even though a lot of it's completely irrelevent now, I don't want the possibility of that much info being available to random strangers on the internet again o.o; And I'd recommend that anyone reading this thinks about how much offline info they put on the 'net. Especially. About. Other. People. >_< )

I don't care for DeviantArt myself, but is has a lot to do with the people running the site and the fact that their "contests" usually screw over the participants for their own gain. They're kind of shady over there. At least here I know the staff isn't trying to rip me off. I just can't support people who engage in such shady practices by having a gallery on their site. But that's just my personal beef with them.
