DA has an advertising for a 15% off a painting program, and I browsed it, price is suprising much lower than I expected. So I skimmed the supply of a nearby bestbuy.
I noticed there's plenty of programs and alot of them for photo work. Even in descriptions, they don't speak of using their programs for drawing. The closest one that would suit this would be corel, since they had an actual suggestion for using it additionally as an art platform
However, I want the personal opinion of other artists here. Which is better for paintin? Corel or Adobe?

well I used corel for about 4 years and it's really very similar to adobe.
I feel like using light effects (lense flare, ect) is much easier, but as with any new program it will take getting used to. I'd say try it out if you get the chance
