Xbox 360 worth the buy???

i have a freeblock at school each day and i have endless ammounts of time at home since my job just hired 20 million people and cut my hours down to almost nothing... i have plenty of time to make an animation or a game but the problem is i would rather make something with some one.
Is anyone interested?
Xbox 360 worth the buy???
