Just going to preface this little journal with that image, which I lovingly drew out on my desk, between literary analysis and napalming the juniors' essays. I drew it, painstakingly with both ink pen and sharpie and the addition of my stuffed lobster, Francois, because today is a special day. Today is the day this account turns three.

That's right-- for the past three years, I've been diligently checking and rechecking and commenting and watching and favouriting, every so often. At the time of writing, I've had six thousand and thirty-three page views, of which I estimate four thousand six hundred and ninety two come from myself. This is a slightly conservative estimate.

I've got some eighty watchers, of which about five comment on just about every little inane thing I bang out on this keyboard. As such, I wanted to send a little shout out to Mercury Yume, Doctor Dolittle, Fitos, WildBlueSun and Satchan. There's other people I'm forgetting, but I dig all of you, really...

Of the course of the last three years, lots has changed for me, but thanks to SheezyArt, I always had some sort of consistent factor in my life. Regardless of workings in the real world, there was always a place where I could reliably find poorly-drawn pornography and bad fanfiction, and these things brightened my day each time.

My writing's a whole lot better.
I've even been published, for Christ's sake, and it's all because you, yes, you, were kicking around and telling me when I was writing shit and when I was writing well.

So, until I can figure out a way to electronically transport whiskey through the internet, please just take comfort in the fact that you've made a person into a writer. That's no small potatoes, yeah?
